Miller, a longtime NFL veteran, came down awkwardly on his left knee, suffering not only ligament damage, but also a torn popliteal artery that required emergency vascular surgery to repair.

Dr. Bush-Joseph says that the odds of Miller playing?football in the NFL again are “very small.”
